We must all be proud of the hard work we put in during this election season. Every one of our efforts to Do Something—get out the vote, door knocking, lit dropping, phone calling, ballot curing, texting and postcarding—has been worthwhile work. We close the book on this election season knowing we left everything on the field.

Oak Park turnout was up by almost 3% compared to 2020, flat in Huntington Woods and Berkley, and down in Royal Oak Township. Our voters showed their support for our Democratic values by casting more votes for Kamala Harris for President in every one of our 26 precincts. We also passed the Oakland County Parks Proposal.

What’s next? It is important for us to take the time we need to heal today. Tomorrow, we must resume our fight for all the things we believe in. Our next meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 21 in the Knox Room of the Huntington Woods Library, located at 26415 Scotia Rd, Huntington Woods, MI, 48070. Sign up to attend.
SAVE THE DATE. Our annual holiday celebration will be held on Monday, December 9 at 6 p.m. Details to follow.
DSOC merch. Hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts, totes and hats are available in our online Store. Since we are no longer requiring dues to join our club, merchandise sales is one of our primary fundraising tools. Wearing DSOC merch not only shows you are a proud Democrat; it also promotes our club. These items also make great gifts!
