We are working hard to get Democrats elected and increase civic engagement in the communities of Oak Park, Huntington Woods, Royal Oak Township and Berkley. Our members fight to ensure that Democratic values are protected and promoted, and that every vote counts.

Our work starts now for the 2026 mid-terms, statewide and other races up and down the ballot! We are actively working to ensure that voters are educated and turn out to vote.

Note that generally, you must have been a member of the MDP for at least 30 days before a convention, caucus or meeting to receive voting privileges. (If you are a precinct delegate, you can become a member at the convention or meeting without the 30-day requirement.)

There are multiple membership options to join the MDP:
