I’m feeling energized by the most successful NO KINGS yet. Dems are winning special elections across the country. We’ve got a lot of quality candidates running for offices this year. There might be a light at the end of this tunnel!

April is a big month for us:

April 13 1-6 pm, Red Cross Blood Drive at the Oak Park Community Center. Times are available (redcross.org) and we need volunteers to help with check-in.

April 16  Candace Calloway and Barb Byrum will speak at our April meeting, along with Noah Hood of the Michigan Supreme Court and university board candidates Naz Hassan (WSU) and Kelly Tebay Zemke and Brianna Scott (MSU). Huntington Woods Library - 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

April 18   Gov. Andy Beshear (Kentucky) speaks at the MDP Legacy Dinner at Huntington Place. Registration for the MDP Nominating Convention will be open as well.

April 19  MDP Nominating Convention at Huntington Place will nominate candidates for Michigan Secretary of State and Attorney General, Supreme Court and university boards.

Finally, we need Precinct Delegates across DSOC municipalities of Royal Oak Township, Oak Park, Huntington Woods and Berkley. Step up or suggest a likely candidate.
