Greetings, Democrats of South Oakland County!

I’ll be happy to see the primaries over in a few days. Some of the campaigning has been ugly. I want to be hopeful that however the primaries end, we can all come together to support our nominees over whichever fools the R’s nominate.

However the primaries turn out, let’s have a picnic!

Our PDs have been texting and knocking to encourage local voters. If you want to get involved now, I’ve been posting canvassing opportunities on the FB page. In September, we will be mounting a major door-knocking and lit event. More on that later.

See you at the picnic—we can all use a little down time before the big push to November.
