Our September meeting will be virtual, and it will not take place on our usual third Thursday of the month, out of respect for our Jewish members who will be observing the High Holy Day of Yom Kippur. Instead, we will meet on Thursday September 30 at the usual time of 7 p.m.

At our Sept. 30 meeting, we will hear from Yvette McElroy-Anderson. She is the Director of the Fannie Lou Hamer Pac and will speak about this amazing Civil Rights and Voting Rights activist’s legacy, and the lessons she taught that we can still apply to today.
