The Democratic Electors of the State of Michigan are hereby notified that by direction of the Democratic State Central Committee, the 2022 State Endorsement Convention of the Michigan Democratic Party will be held at Huntington Place in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday, April 9, 2022. If circumstances are such that the COVID-19 pandemic makes it unsafe for in-person attendance, the Michigan Democratic Party reserves the right to change the format of the Convention from an in-person, hybrid event to a virtual event.

Please mark your calendar for the upcoming MDP Endorsement Convention scheduled for Saturday, April 9, 2022. You are qualified to vote if you are a member of the party by March 10, 2022.

At this convention, we will endorse candidates for Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Supreme Court, State Board of Education, and the University Boards.

Joining the Party gives you voting privileges at state conventions and all local meetings of the Democratic Party. Membership contributions help the MDP run critical programs, offer local party support, and keep organizers on the ground all year, every year. Please note that you must have been a member of the party by March 8 in order to vote at the convention, unless you are a precinct delegate, in which case you can join the day of the convention.
