Please join us for our monthly meeting. We will hear from David Hecker, former president of American Federation of Teachers Michigan (AFT Michigan). He worked in the role of state president and was also vice president of the national American Federation of Teachers, AFT Michigan’s parent union. He is an officer-at-large of the Michigan Democratic Party. He is on the board of the Michigan League for Public Policy and also on the board of New Detroit, a racial policy advocacy organization.
