Oak Park Juneteenth Celebration

This year's Oak Park Juneteenth Celebration is set to be an event to remember! Save the date now for an evening full of events!

4 pm: Juneteenth One Mile Walk around the City/Shepherd Park Campus. To register for this free walk meant to honor the history of Juneteenth visit https://forms.office.com/r/DQ0GkLBSSL

4-7 pm: Black History 101 Mobile Museum at the Oak Park Public Library, with a lecture at 6 pm.

This project is funded in part by Michigan Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

5-7 pm: Juneteenth Program that will feature speeches from dignitaries and recognition of student winners of the Juneteenth Self Expression Scholarship Contest.

7-9 pm: Live concert featuring the band "Back in the Day."
